Teachers will be shown how to implement this thematic unit, Cuestiones éticas, designed especially to address all the new components of the AP Spanish Language Exam. The presentation will address all areas included in the new examination format: aural/oral skills, reading comprehension, grammar and composition. Participants in the workshop will receive all materials presented as well as suggestions for implementation. Looking for ways to make your classroom more wonderful than wild? This workshop offers a variety of methods to teach and inspire as well as deal with the many demands of the world language classroom of the 21st Century. Activities and strategies presented will range from basic classroom management to personalized guided practice to engaging ways to assess student proficiency. Hands-on and collaborative activities will allow teachers to grapple with the always challenging issues of homework, daily comprehensible input, keeping reluctant learners engaged and assessment. Learn about the corrida de toros through an authentic, dynamic, and detailed multimedia presentation, then master the moves of the Sevillanas and Rumba Flamenca quickly and easily, to enjoy and share these cultural treasures with your students! Keep all language learners engaged with a variety of motivational guided practices that increase interest in language learning. Templates and instructions will be provided during the session.
