Similar to our classic best-seller "All About Me" written for introductory foreign language classes, the "Lenguaje
para la vida: 1 y 2" and "Le français pour la vie"
lesson plan books offer a wealth of dynamic lessons and assessments planned for compatability
with any textbook series. Each book is full of entire units that have multi-day activities leading up to culminating
performance events. These units provide you with alternatives or enrichments to the textbooks you're using, with
more complex opportunities for students to express themselves, negotiate with others, and make organized, original presentations
in Spanish and French.
"Lenguaje para la vida: 1"
and "Le français pour la vie" (Language
for Life: 1) are most appropriate for students of Intermediate Spanish/French and/or introductory levels of
Spanish for Spanish Speakers (SSS). In this book you will find a continuing emphasis on oral communication and negotiation
of meaning in a variety of contexts, including many activities that make full use of current technology and community connections
through Cultural Participation and Research.
"Lenguaje para la
vida: 2" (Spanish only) is most appropriate for Advanced Spanish and SSS classrooms, with its emphasis
on literacy development and the presentational language described in the National Standards. Students at upper levels
can do many exciting and interesting things with language, in many contexts requiring creativity and critical thinking, and
this book offers you numerous, interdisciplinary ways to fully challenge them and meet their expanding needs.
Though geared for intermediate and advanced level students, many of the
activities in all of our lesson plan books can be adapted for any stage of language learning. The Table
of Contents for each are listed to the right. To order copies, download the order form (MSExcel)!
